G’day from New Zealand!!
I have been looking forward to sending this newsletter all summer long. We are gearing up to head out to meet thousands of new students this fall semester, which begins Feb 15th. Our staff and teams of people from our church are going to be going out during the first week on classes and doing surveys with hundreds of students. This proves to be a very crucial time. Please keep us in your prayers that the Holy Spirit would bring those who are receptive and open across our paths quickly, so they can get set up in a weekly Bible study.
We really believe getting the word of God, along with Faith and prayer, into a young person life , on a weekly basis, is the key to see them come to know Jesus and be born again!
As you continue to pray for the students I wrote to you about last time:
- Nathan W – has suffered from depression for many years and is really looking forward to knowing that God is real
- Dan F – Please pray that he would want to do a Bible study
- Tristram – Has bitterness in his heart towards God, but really wants to believe He’s real
- Tristin – Believes in God, but has never had a personal relationship with Jesus
The list is going to grow and I look forward to adding some names and letting you know how God changes their lives!
God has really been at work in our midst here and its going to begin to take an affect on the campus this year. In the attached newsletter your going to read about a young man who’s deaf ear was completely healed by God. His name is Cadyn and he lives right next door to one of the ministers on our staff named Josh.
I know that communication can be a bit difficult due to me being over seas, however I’ve recently begun to use a device that gives me a local us phone number through my computer. I would love you hear from you and pray with you for these students and hear how God has been moving in your life. You can call me at 480-243-8074. The time difference here is 19 hours ahead.
I look forward to hearing from you and thank you so much for your continual prayers and support!
Sincerely,
Daniel Vanos
