The U.S. government has failed us. The primary responsibility of the U.S. government is to protect citizens, yet every day illegal aliens walk across the U.S. border, putting Americans at grave risk. Without a doubt, border security is a matter of national security.

John McCain has failed the American people. During his 28 years in Washington, John McCain has had countless opportunities to protect our borders.  In fact, in February McCain could have demanded more money, more troops, and more measures be taken to stop the violence, crime and drugs brought by illegal aliens into America and through Arizona’s southern border.  Instead, he argued against the one measure that has a real chance of protecting Americans by stating, “This border fence issue has been a waste of billions of dollars,” agreeing with Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano.

The fact is that John McCain’s record reflects a man who has failed to secure our borders while championing AMNESTY.

The McCain/Obama amnesty plan UNDERMINES border security. By providing a “path to citizenship” for illegal aliens, McCain’s plan invites continued violations to our border security by legitimizing illegal entrants to our country.

Not on MY watch! If elected to the U.S. Senate, I vow to be the first line of defense to protect Arizonans and Americans by championing tighter immigration enforcement and increased border security measures as outlined in my book “Whatever it Takes.”

The time is NOW and America’s borders must be secured. The time is NOW to stop the deaths of innocent Americans and to work toward a common-sense, responsible solution to our nation’s ongoing war on the border WITHOUT granting illegal aliens amnesty.
