The last couple of weeks have been rather busy at work, hence the lack of post on BB. It has been about all I can get done to get a couple of post on CarolinaPatriots.org in this time frame. With that excuse behind me. *wink*
On a personal note, we (Aimee, Grandparents, and I) have our son all set to head into his Junior Year on his trek in Higher Education. We also have our daughter heading into her Freshman Year *headspin*. I would like to give a huge shout out to the Grandparents and God for blessing our family with this opportunity to help our kids as they grow more into adulthood.
On the political note(s), we (Carolina Patriots, Grand Strand TEA Party, and C4L (Horry Co.)) were introduced to the Independence Caucus this last Tuesday night. It was a very informative and enlightening session on the efforts that were started in Utah and is gaining ground across the nation on getting our elected employees in Washington correctly vetted in regards to the Constitution minded aspects of government. It will allow us to be a much more focused and important part of the process going forward in Horry County, Georgetown County, Marion County, and working into all of District One South Carolina. The Carolina Patriots are working on filling up the second busload for the August trip to DC – I’m all paid up so this year I will be making the trip *cheers*. The Carolina Patriots have a busy August 3rd meeting planned – working on getting all the pieces together this weekend. We will be having a great speaker arriving from Columbia for this month’s main meeting and we will cover the trip to DC plus the letter campaign to Lindsey Graham “Mr America” one of the Senators in South Carolina which we can’t figure out which Major Party he works for in representing the folks of South Carolina in DC.
On the RNC note, All I will say is we are getting our plans laid out for March 2011 – The Reorganization of Horry County’s Republican Party.
