Hi! You left a comment on my story at MyrtleBeachOnline.com (http://www.topix.net/forum/source/myrtle-beach-online/TC99C464GA4LGJM9T#c19) and I’d like to ask you about it – I’m trying to make sure my writing is clear. So if you could contact me at lfleisher@thesunnews.com I’d appreciate it! Thanks!

Thanks for reading what was there and not what you wanted to see or what you thought a woman should think. I appreciate that.

    Fran:

Your welcome. I’m not sure why DC made the comment he made because your post did not read that way.

He may have been looking at something else and then replied with the wrong name. It happens.

Looking for a way to contact you regarding your genealogical research, specifically the Meggs family. I’d love to hear from you.

Daniel just wanted to make sure that I could get through. I have some business that can’t wait so I will try to get back tonight or tomorrow to discuss politics.

  8. Richard L. Wolfe says:

Daniel, I enjoyed your rant about the auto insurance. Believe or not it use to be even HIGHER than it is today. Between 1979 and 1991 I went to jail for driving Without insurance. Why would I do such a thing? The reason is simple, I could not afford the insurance but I still wanted to drive. LOL

I never had a wreck, I never was DUI, in fact I was never cited for a moving violation. Plus, once you get caught you were required to purchase SR-22 insurance at over $2000/6mo. back when $5/hr. was a good wage.

I also feel like mandatory insurance is unconstitutional. I know the insurance card is a violation of the fourth amendment. Finally, if any insurance is mandatory it should be affordable. End of rant.

    Hey Daniel,
I have a question I’m sure you can answer: In SC how does one write-in a candidate ? Request a paper ballot?? Thanks in advance!

  10. DanielC says:

    Jim,

    I called:

    Horry County Election Commission
    c/o Voter Registration Office
    103 Elm Street
    Conway, SC 29526
    (843) 915-5440 Fax 915-6440
    Sandy Martin

And asked your question because I was curious too.

The lady on the phone said, “you press the write-in button on the machine for the office you want to write-in; then you type in the name.”

I asked, just to double check, “So you can still use the electronic machines to write-in, we don’t have to ask for a paper ballot?”
She stated, “Yes sir you can use the electronic voting machines. You do not need a paper ballot to write-in.”

So now we both know. *smile*

I was looking through your blog trying to find those entries you made with the music and the reference to your BIG SISTER Linda when I happened on this page. I like the first entry comment, and it is still true! Though now it is nearly Christmas and I am singing to the top of my lungs, JOY TO THE WORLD THE LORD HAS COME LET EARTH RECEIVE HER KING! and etc.http://www.cyberhymnal.org/htm/f/u/fuucibor.htm I just talked to Lynday and all is okay with your grandparents though not fully recovered, yet they are on their way in time for Christmas Day! m

Medical marihauna is actually quite a effective medicine for a lot of people, regardless of what folks say. I know friends who have been aided with medical marijuana.
